"I  have been painting all my life. I grew up in Detroit which was always a hotbed for Black music. The Blues, Jazz, and R & B was the only music I would ever listened to.

My goal in painting Blues artists is to capture the feeling...... That is what the Blues is all about. The Blues does not only express pain, but every heart felt feeling know to the Human Race. John Lee Hooker sang about the Blues as  "Healer" and I guess that is part of it also.
