Review by Sarit Perkol in Maariv, a major Israeli daily newspaper.
"And They Shall Beat Their Swords Into Guitars ..." writes Johnny Mayer on the Blues for Peace website. The site, in English, was set up to to honor the roots of blues music and promote peace and the understanding that ALL peoples have had their share of the Blues.
It offers pictures of Israeli Blues Festivals, info and pictures of the great blues musicians such as Charlie Mingus, B.B. King, Eric Clapton and others. There are articles on Beat Generation writers and poets like Alan Ginsburg and Jack Kerouac, song lyrics, notes and song files.
