I'm confused.. .is Lynyrd Skynyrd the best American southern rock band or is their really only one American Southern rock band and it's called Lynyrd Skynyrd? A bunch of good old boys with screamin' guitars, Lynyrd Skynyrd was led by Ronnie Van Zant, until he died. Lynyrd Skynyrd concerts were the best place to hear their best songs... "Freebird", and "Sweet Home Alabama", etc... Few bands ever had musicians to compare with Gary Rossington and Allen Collins in one banb.. Wake up man!
