The idea behind this Web site is to promote peace through the idea that people of all colors, cultures and religions have had the blues at one time or another.

Visitors can groove to blues tunes from all over the world in RealAudio files, including Italy, Spain and Australia. Blues for Peace, which is set up in Israel as an interactive shalom, also has pictures, poetry, message boards and a news section that mentions a recent Blues for Peace event involving Peace Action Milwaukee.

In an effort to reach everyone, the site is available in several languages, including French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Russian and Spanish. The site is seeking someone to translate it into Arabic and Japanese, too.
