Cajun Blues guitarist, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Big Bill Broonzy (1893-1958) played a major role in the Chicago blues scene in the 1930's. In the early 1950's, his tours helped introduce the blues to Europe. In 1980 he was inducted in the Blues Hall of Fame.
