A blues concert was held on behalf of a People to People group that visited Israel, the P.N.A., Lebanon and Jordan in fall, 1999. The group had conctacted "Blues for Peace about ther trip and we arranged for them the blues show, dinner party with Israeli high tech leaders and a visit to the Peres Center for Peace. The group had a great time and invited me, Johnny Mayer ot an evening in Ramallh sponsored by the Palestinian Authrority's Hana Seniora.

People to People promotes international understanding  and peace through direct people to people contacts, personal communication and mutual respect among men and women of many cultures.

Participants in People to People programs enjoy meetings, briefings, and discussions with their counterparts in diverse nations.The organization, founded by President Eisenhower, funds student exchanges, fellowships, sports, art and professional programs.
